Sizzling sales for Silverwoods


Despite current Victorian lockdowns and gloomy economic news Yarrawonga’s Silverwoods lifestyle residential development is bucking the trend with a spike in land sales.

Development company Lotus Living recently released part of stage 13 known as the Thomson Release 1 and sold 80% of the available residential land blocks in just two days.

This was following Stage 7b The Links Release all sold out before land titles were even available.

Lotus Living General Manager Daniel Smith said these sales are speaking volumes for themselves.

“We are receiving very strong general enquiry from the local areas,” Mr Smith said.

“More and more people are coming to the region from local areas. The trend is very positive for the local economy and its future,” Mr Smith said.

Recent information provided by the REA Group highlights a sharp increase in first-home buyer enquiry on the groups online platform since the beginning of the year mainly off the back of government incentives like the 5% deposit scheme, HomeBuilder along with record-low interest rates.

The REA Group also believe the COVID-19 Pandemic is poised to drive an exodus of people from Australia’s biggest cities as families bring forward plans to make a tree-change or a sea-change.

Sebel luxury resort to open soon

The multi-million-dollar Sebel Yarrawonga complex is due to open soon.
